This beer smells like heaven. Oaky, Chocolaty and smooth. No hop aroma, but that's not a problem here. Congratulations, you've made it to first base. Hope the taste is as good as the smell.

This beer is dark as the night is long, but at first glance is under carbed. Head is non-existent.

Ahhh, the warm taste of well balanced alcohol. The dark malts do a good job of balancing out the alcohol content and smoothing out the smokey falvor. Does it have chocolate, or is it just chocolate malt? Oak is good, but not overpowering. I don't get too much wood flavor, so I have to say the balance with the coffee and chocolate is what you were shooting for.

It feels like beer should feel. Not over carbonated, and could even do with a little more.

Send me more. I like this beer, a lot. Well balanced, not over powering.
